The highest year-on-year decrease in beef and veal production in this year

Meat production total (excl. poultry meat) went down by 12.3 % in July year-on-year due to both decreases in beef production (incl. veal) and pigmeat production by 29.5 % and 7.7 %, respectively.
The average slaughter weight decreased by 2.6 % to 580.8 kg for bulls, in case of pigs for slaughter (excl. sows and boars) the weight went up by 0.2 % to 105.3 kg year-on-year.
Prices of agricultural producers rose up by 8.8 % for bulls for slaughter year-on-year, on the contrary the same prices went down by 5.9 % for pigs for slaughter.
Milk collection for dairies went up by 1.5 % year-on-year.
Since the beginning of the year meat production total (excl. poultry meat) has decreased by 16.7 % year-on-year due to both decreases in pigmeat and beef production (incl. veal) by 15.2 % and 22.9 %, respectively. A fall of indigenous meat production was compensated for imports of meat and animals for slaughter.
The average slaughter weight went down by 0.7 % to 584.2 kg for bulls for slaughter year-on-year, in case of pigs for slaughter (excl. sows and boars) the weight fall by 2.6 % to 106.2 kg.
Prices of agricultural producers rose by 9.6 % for bulls for slaughter year-on-year, in case of pigs for slaughter the prices rose by 10.0 %.
Milk collected for dairies increased by 0.7 % year-on-year.
