Employment and unemployment (LFS)

Year-on-year (y-o-y), the number of the employed persons increased by 24.3 thousand and the development of the total employment thus can be labelled as stagnating. According to the methodology of the International Labour Organization (ILO), the number of the unemployed decreased by 9.7 thousand persons. The number of the economically inactive aged 15+ years increased by 51.8 thousand during the same period.
