Overall confidence in the economy increased

Business confidence increased in November in selected services (+5.9 points), trade (+4.6 points) and construction (+4.2 points). In industry, business confidence in the economy fell by 3.9 points m-o-m.
Consumer confidence increased m-o-m in November. The confidence indicator rose by 0.9 points to 101.6. The share of consumers expecting the overall economic situation in the Czech Republic to deteriorate over the next 12 months and their financial situation to worsen over the next 12 months was almost unchanged. For the fifth month in a row, the number of households assessing their current financial situation as worse than in the previous twelve months also remained almost unchanged. The share of consumers who believe that the current times are not suitable to making large purchases has declined.
