Agriculture - Quality reports
EU Member States provide the Commission (Eurostat) with reports on the quality of data transmitted on the base of Article 12 – Statistical quality of the Regulation (EC) No 223/2009 on European statistics (which was amended by Regulation (EU) No 2015/759).
On 1 January 2025 the Regulation (EU) 2022/2379 on statistics on agricultural input and output, amending Commission Regulation (EC) No 617/2008 and repealing Regulations (EC) No 1165/2008, (EC) No 543/2009 and (EC) No 1185/2009 of the European Parliament and of the Council and Council Directive 96/16/EC (see below) will come in force.

Economic accounts for agriculture
Specific quality requirements are laid down in the Regulation (EC) No 138/2004 on the economic accounts for agriculture in the Community.
Periodicity of the ESMS report is one ear. The most recent public ESQRS report is available for the year 20 2017; periodicity of the report is 5 years.
Integrated farm Survey
Specific quality requirements are laid down in the Regulation (EC) No 2018/1091 on integrated farm statistics.
The most recent public report is available for the reference year 2020. The periodicity of the report is 3 years.
Since 2020 the Integrated farm survey replaced Farm structure survey; in line with the Regulation (EC) 2018/1091. The title of report has been kept the same.
Crop production
Specific quality requirements are laid down in the Regulation (EC) No 543/2009 concerning crop statistics.
The most recent public report is available for the year 2022. The periodicity of the report is three years.
Animal production
Specific quality requirements are laid down in the Regulation (EC) No 1165/2008 concerning livestock and meat statistics.
The most recent public report is available for the reference year 2022. The periodicity of the report is 3 years.
The report is complemented by separate reports for each of the statistics described in the report.
Specific quality requirements for statistics on production of eggs for consumption and number of laying hens are laid down in the ESS Agreement on statistics of production of eggs for consumption (2017). For this statistics, the Czech Republic provides data and metadata on a voluntary basis, without accession to the ESS Agreement. The most recent public report is available for the reference year 2018. The periodicity of the report is usually 5 years.
Specific quality requirements for statistics on eggs for hatching and farmyard poultry chicks are laid down in Regulation (EC) No 617/2008 which lays down detailed rules for implementing Regulation (EC) No 1234/2007 as regards marketing standards for eggs for hatching and farmyard poultry chicks.
The most recent public report available is - as requested - for the year 2020. The next report is expected in the year 2028 for the period 2025 – 2027, in relation with new Regulation (EU) 2022/2379.
Specific quality requirements for statistics on milk and milk products are laid down in Council Directive 96/16/EC on statistical surveys of milk and milk products. Statistical are produced in cooperation by the Ministry of Agriculture and the Czech Statistical Office.
Permanent crops
Specific quality requirements were laid down in the Regulation (EU) No 1337/2011 concerning European statistics on permanent crops, repealed by Regulation (EU) No 2018/1091.
The most recent public report for statistics on orchards is available for the reference year 2017 (structural survey); and for statistics on vineyards (structural survey) for the reference year 2020. The laid down periodicity of the reports is 5 years.
Aquaculture statistics
Specific quality requirements are laid down in the Regulation (EC) No 762/2008 on the submission by Member States of statistics on aquaculture. The periodicity of the report is annual.
Pesticide statistics
Specific quality requirements are laid down in the Regulation (EC) No 1185/2009 concerning statistics on pesticides.
The most recent public report Pesticide use in agriculture is available for the reference year 2019. The periodicity of the report is 5 years.
The laid down periodicity of the report Pesticide sales is annual.
