Crop production

According to the harvest estimate as at 30 September, the harvest of the following is expected to be higher, year-on-year (y-o-y): potatoes (+9.8%), poppy (+58.9%), soya (+10.8%), grain maize (+11.3%) as well as green maize (+14.5%). On the other hand, a lower harvest of sunflower seed and field peas for grain is expected (−12.5% and −9.7%, respectively). The estimate refined the year-on-year decline in the harvest of basic cereals (-8.4%) and rapeseed (-27.3%).
