Animal production

In total 117 868 tonnes of meat were produced at slaughterhouses in Q3 2025; i.e. by 5.5% more, year-on-year. Poultrymeat production went up by 11.3%, pigmeat production rose by 3.1%, and beef production declined by 2.0%. Direct purchases of milk from producers increased by 5.1%, y-o-y, and reached 825 435 thous. litres.
