Animal production

In total 119 860 tonnes of meat were produced at slaughterhouses in Q4 2025; i.e. by 3.1% more, year-on-year. Poultrymeat production went up by 11.3%, pigmeat production declined by 0.9%, and beef production was down by 3.7%. Direct purchases of milk from producers increased by 7.1%, y-o-y, and reached 817 061 thous. litres.
