Economic accounts for agriculture
Production of the agricultural sector, expressed in basic current prices, increased by 10.4% in 2025 according to semi-definitive results, reaching CZK 192,911.2 million. This value was driven by growth in both crop production (+7.3%) and animal production (+15.5%). Cereals (39.3%) and industrial crops (22.7%) accounted for the largest shares of crop production. The most significant contributors to animal production were milk production (54.5%), cattle for slaughter (15.6%), and pigs for slaughter (11.6%). Entrepreneurial income amounted to CZK 24,275.1 million, up by 101.4% year on year.
