Economic accounts for agriculture
Production of the agricultural sector, expressed in basic current prices, increased by 10.7% in 2025 according to preliminary results, reaching CZK 193,360.3 million. This value was driven by growth in both crop production (+7.7%) and animal production (+15.5%). Cereals (39.9%) and industrial crops (22.6%) accounted for the largest shares of crop production. The most significant contributors to animal production were milk production (54.5%), cattle for slaughter (15.6%), and pigs for slaughter (11.6%). Entrepreneurial income is provisionally estimated at CZK 26,546.6 million (year‑on‑year +110.2%).
