According to the preliminary estimate, the gross domestic product increased in the Q3 2015 by 4.3%, year-on-year; compared to the Q2 2015 it was 0.5% up.
In the third quarter of 2015, significant growth of the Czech economy continued. According to the preliminary estimate, the gross domestic product (GDP) adjusted for price effects and seasonally adjusted*/ increased in the Q3 2015 by 4.3%, year-on-year; compared to the Q2 2015 it increased by 0.5%.
The GDP growth was pulled especially by manufacturing, with a marked contribution of construction and trade. On the expenditure side, it was an increasing investment activity, foreign demand, and consumption of households, which contributed to the GDP growth.
The ongoing economic growth was positively reflected also on the labour market. Employment in terms of national accounts increased by 1.1%, y-o-y, and remained unchanged in the q-o-q comparison.
