Pensions

In 2024, CZK 695 billion was allocated for pensions paid by the Czech Social Security Administration. By the end of 2024, some pension was received by 2,848 thousand people in Czechia, of which 2,367 thousand people received an old-age pension. The average amount of full old-age pension reached CZK 20,736. The proportion of people who were granted an old-age pension before reaching retirement age (the so-called early old-age pension) reached 32% of all recipients of full old-age pensions.
