There were 160 acute care hospitals in Czechia with 49,218 beds in 2023. The average length of stay in acute care beds has decreased from 6,6 days to 5,5 days since 2010. There were 25,478 independent surgeries of physicians in 2023 in Czechia. In total, there were 5,473 indipendent surgeries of general practitioners for adults and 2,120 for children and adolescents. General dentists provided 5,661 independent surgeries.
