Employment, Unemployment - Reports on quality

EU Member States provide the Commission (Eurostat) with reports on the quality of data transmitted on the base of Article 12 – Statistical quality of the Regulation (EC) No 223/2009 on European statistics (which was amended by Regulation (EU) No 2015/759).
 

Labour Force Survey (LFS)

Specific requirements regarding labour force statistics are laid down in sectoral legislation, namely in Regulation (EU) 2019/1700 establishing a common framework for European statistics relating to persons and households, based on data at individual level collected from samples, Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2019/2180 specifying the detailed arrangements and content for the quality reports pursuant to Regulation (EU) 2019/177, and in Regulation (EU) 2019/2240 on technical items of the data set, establishing the technical formats for transmission of information and specifying the detailed arrangements and content of the quality reports on the organisation of a sample survey in the labour force domain in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2019/1700.
