Economy of health insurance companies

These pages contain selected indicators from the processing of the quarterly statistical statement Zdp3-04 and the annual statistical statement Zdp5-01. The reporting obligation for these reports is for economic entities registered in the commercial register with the predominant activity of health insurance companies (within the Classification of Economic Activities CZ NACE group 84.3). The legislative framework for the activities of health insurance companies in the Czech Republic is given by the applicable laws on the General Health Insurance Fund of the Czech Republic and on occupational (branch) health insurance companies. In accordance with these laws, health insurance companies are the carriers of public health insurance for the insured persons registered with them.
