Students of ICT fields
At the end of 2025, 25,847 people were studying ICT fields at universities in Czechia, accounting for 7.8% of all university students. Women made up 18% of ICT students, while students with foreign citizenship accounted for 31%. Among all groups of fields of education, ICT fields had the highest share of students with foreign citizenship and, conversely, the lowest share of women.
Year on year, the number of graduates from ICT fields at universities in Czechia increased by 274 to 4,740 in 2025. More than 60% of them (2,918) completed bachelor’s degree programmes. Among ICT graduates, there were 1,443 foreign nationals and 887 women.
