Students of ICT fields
In 2024, a total of 24,933 people studied ICT fields of education at universities in Czechia, which made up 7.9% of all university students. The representation of women among them has been increasing over the long term, but it still does not reach even a fifth. The proportion of students with foreign citizenship is the highest among students in ICT compared to all other fields of education. In 2024, their share reached nearly one-third compared to one-fifth in 2015. Year-on-year, the total number of graduates from ICT fields of education at universities in Czechia increased by 519 to 4,466 in 2024. Among these graduates, there were 1,301 foreigners and 777 women.
