Structural business statistics – Reports on quality

EU Member States provide the Commission (Eurostat) with reports on the quality of data transmitted on the base of Article 12 – Statistical quality of the Regulation (EC) No 223/2009 on European statistics (which was amended by Regulation (EU) No 2015/759).

Structural business statistics

Starting with reference year 2021, structural business statistics data are provided on the basis of Regulation (EU) 2019/2152 on European business statistics (EBS regulation), and implementing Regulation (EU) 2020/1197 laying down technical specifications and arrangements (Genera Implementing Act). Prior to 2020, SBS was governed by Regulation (EC) 295/2008 on structural business statistics, in the version applicable as of 31. 12. 2020.

Global value chains (GVC) statistiscs

GVC data are produced on the basis of Regulation (EU) 2019/2152 on European business statistics (EBS regulation), and implementing Regulation (EU) 2022/918 laying down technical specifications of data requirements for the topic Global Value Chains.
