Sport
The state budget expenditure on sport in 2024 reached CZK 9.3 billion and increased by almost 6.9% compared to 2023. Approximately one-third of the expenditure is related to the country's sports representation and the remaining two-thirds to general sports activities. One fifth of children and young people aged 5 to 24 participated in organised sport.
