Project Description:

As part of the comprehensive project by the Czech Statistical Office (CSO), a generational upgrade of the key information system - the Statistical Information System (SIS 5.0) - will be carried out.

The SIS 5.0 project will support activities that contribute to increasing the number of users of digital public services, including a self-service portal, products, and processes that are newly developed or significantly upgraded with the support of the National Recovery Plan (NRP). These activities will help achieve several milestones and targets that are part of the two NRP components, ensuring the further lifecycle of the entire SIS 5.0.

From Component 1.1 Digital services for citizens and businesses, this includes:

  • Launching the SIS_2_Central Processing information system, providing services to end users;
  • Completing the SIS_1_Unified Entry Interface project, which will lead to an increase in the number of electronically completed and submitted forms;
  • Building infrastructure for publishing data sets (codices, links, statistical data, HVDS) in the National Open Data Catalogue through the products SIS_3_Extension of Dissemination Tools and SIS_4_Unified Meta-information System.

For Component 1.2 Digital public administration systems, this involves:

  • Signing a contract for the implementation of the central verification point information system for the CSO (SIS_0_Central Authentication Point) and integrating statistical registers into the interconnected data fund (SIS_5_System of Statistical Registers);
  • Successful operation of the central verification point information system for the CSO (SIS_0_Central Authentication Point) and integration of statistical registers into the interconnected data fund (SIS_5_System of Statistical Registers).
