A Call for Papers on the Topic of Declining Fertility for the Special Issue of Demografie
Publication Date: 12. 11. 2025
Product Code: 133004-25
The decline in fertility rates that we have witnessed in Czechia in recent years has been occurring in almost all developed countries for the past 15 years or so. Even northern European countries such as Norway and Sweden, which managed to maintain total fertility rates of around two children per woman for a long time, have experienced a decline in fertility to levels as low as those currently being seen in Czechia. We would like to contribute to this debate with a special issue that will provide more context for the decline in fertility rates and shed light on the possible determinants behind it.
