Products of car industry reached the highest values of sold production also in 2024; vehicles with a hybrid engine CZK 169 billion and those with a combustion engine (up to 1 500 cm3) CZK 152 billion. Since 2010, over 1 million passenger cars a year are produced in Czechia (1 453 thousand in 2024). In the period since 1993, an upward trend has been clear in the production of nonwovens, paper boxes and bags, plastic products, metal structures and wire fencing, and refrigerators and heat pumps.
