ICT in healthcare sector
Only 4 % of doctors' offices in the Czech Republic did not have an Internet connection in 2023. More than half of the practices had their own websites, but only 12 % maintained medical records exclusively electronically. It was possible to order online in 24 % of surgeries, 36 % of surgeries offered patients the possibility to request a prescription electronically.
