ICT in enterprises
Since 2006, more than 95 % of enterprises with ten or more employees in the Czech Republic had access to the Internet. Almost half of enterprises (46 % in 2024) connected to the Internet at speeds higher than 100 Mbit/s, and almost a tenth of enterprises (8 % in 2024) used "superfast" Internet with download speeds higher than 1 Gbit/s. The share of employees of enterprises with 10 or more employees with Internet access at work was 56 % in 2024 and was therefore almost half as high as ten years ago. More and more enterprises have their user account on one of the social media platforms, in 2024 it was more than 54 %. The use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies in enterprises in Czechia is on the rise, in 2024 more than 11 % of enterprises in our country used some of the AI technologies, i.e. almost twice as many as a year ago.
