Health status of the population
In 2023, 66,4% of the Czech population perceived their health as very good or good. Males (69.2%) perceived their health more positively than females (63.8%). Almost 862,000 persons were treated with diabetes mellitus medication in Czechia in 2023. There were 601.6 newly notified cases of malignant neoplasms per 100 thousand population in 2023.
