Health status of the population
In 2022, 68% of the Czech population perceived their health as very good or good. Males (70.5%) perceived their health more positively than females (65.6%). Almost 834,000 persons were treated with diabetes mellitus medication in Czechia in 2022. There were 555.9 newly notified cases of malignant neoplasms per 100 thousand population in 2021.
