Health care, incapacity for work - Reports on quality

EU Member States provide the Commission (Eurostat) with reports on the quality of data transmitted on the base of Article 12 – Statistical quality of the Regulation (EC) No 223/2009 on European statistics (which was amended by Regulation (EU) No 2015/759).

Specific requirements are laid down in Regulation (EC) 1338/2008 on Community statistics on public health and health and safety at work, and

in Regulation (EU) 349/2011 implementing Regulation (EC) No 1338/2008 as regards statistics on accidents at work; respectively  

in Regulation (EU) 2021/1901 implementing Regulation (EC) No 1338/2008 as regards statistics on health care expenditure and financing. Regulation (EU) 2021/1901 has replaced Regulation (EU) 2015/359 since 2021.

Reports on quality are provided regularly each year, for health care expenditures in 5-year periodicity and the most recent is for 2017.
