GDP, National Accounts - Reports on quality
EU Member States provide the Commission (Eurostat) with reports on the quality of data transmitted on the base of Article 12 – Statistical quality of the Regulation (EC) No 223/2009 on European statistics (which was amended by Regulation (EU) No 2015/759).
National and regional accounts
Specific requirements regarding gross national income (GNI) are laid down in Regulation (EU) No 2019/516 on the harmonisation of gross national income at market prices.
Specific requirements for national accounts, including gross value added (GVA), are laid down in Regulation (EU) 549/2013 on the European system of regional and national accounts (ESA 2010), in Regulation (EU) 2023/734 amending Regulation (EU) No 549/2013, in Implementing Regulation (EU) 2016/2304 on the modalities, structure, periodicity and assessment indicators of the quality reports on data transmitted pursuant to Regulation (EU) No 549/2013, and in Implementing Regulation (EU) 724/2014 on the interchange standard for the transmission of data required under Regulation (EU) No 549/2013.
Quality reports are compiled annually. Inventories are compiled usually in 5 year period.
Reports on quality are available in English, inventories in English and Czech languages.
