Wages and Labour - Reports on quality
EU Member States provide the Commission (Eurostat) with reports on the quality of data transmitted on the base of Article 12 – Statistical quality of the Regulation (EC) No 223/2009 on European statistics (which was amended by Regulation (EU) No 2015/759).
Specific requirements are laid down in sectoral legislation:
for structure of earnings survey in Regulation (EC) No 530/1999 concerning structural statistics on earnings and on labour costs, and in Regulation (EC) No 1738/2005 amending Regulation (EC) No 1916/2000 as regards the definition and transmission of information on the structure of earnings;
for job vacancy statistics in Regulation (EC) No 453/2008 on quarterly statistics on Community job vacancies;
for labour cost statistics in Regulation (EC) No 530/1999 concerning structural statistics on earnings and on labour costs; and in Regulation (EC) No 1726/1999 Implementing Council Regulation (EC) No 530/1999 as regards the definition and transmission of information on labour costs; and
for statistics of labour cost index in Regulation (EC) No 450/2003 concerning the labour cost index, and in Regulation (EC) No 1216/2003 implementing Regulation (EC) No 450/2003.
Periodicity of structure of earnings survey and labour cost survey reports is four years. Most recent publicly available report for structure of earnings survey is for year 2018 and for labour cost statistics for year 2020. Other mentioned reports are provided regularly each year.
