In 2024, the share of tourism of the gross added value of the Czech Republic represented 2.44% (179.8 CZK billion). 233.4 thousand people were employed in the tourism industry, i.e. every 23rd working person (job) in the Czech Republic. The share of tourism gross domestic product in the national economy reached 2.50%.
