Social security – Reports on quality
EU Member States provide the Commission (Eurostat) with reports on the quality of data transmitted on the base of Article 12 – Statistical quality of the Regulation (EC) No 223/2009 on European statistics (which was amended by Regulation (EU) No 2015/759). Specific requirements for transportation statistics are laid down in sectoral legislation.
Statistics of social protection - European system of integrated social protection statistics (ESSPROS)
Statistics of social protection is managed by Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs of the Czech Republic (MoLSA), and within European statistical system is pursued under the regulation EC 458/2007 on the European system of integrated social protection statistics (ESSPROS).
Specific requirements for statistics of the core system and pension beneficiaries are laid down in regulation EC 1322/2007 implementing Regulation EC 458/2007 as regards the appropriate formats for transmission, results to be transmitted and criteria for measuring quality for the ESSPROS core system and the module on pension beneficiaries; and regulation EC 10/2008 implementing Regulation EC 458/2007 as regards the definitions, detailed classifications and updating of the rules for dissemination for the ESSPROS core system and the module on pension beneficiaries.
Specific requirements for statistics of net social protection benefits are laid down in regulation EU 263/2011 implementing Regulation EC 458/2007 as regards the launch of full data collection for the ESSPROS module on net social protection benefits; and regulation EU 110/2011 implementing Regulation EC 458/2007 as regards the appropriate formats for the transmission of data, the results to be transmitted and the criteria for measuring quality for the ESSPROS module on net social protection benefits.
Specific requirements for statistics on unemployment benefits recipients are not laid down in any implementing regulation. Quality report is available on voluntary basis and includes basic information.
