Construction orders - 4. quarter of 2005

In Q4 2005, the value of new construction work orders concluded in the CR stood at CZK 63.6 billion, increased by 0.4 % y-o-y. In 2005, construction enterprises contracted 93 602 new construction work orders (increased by 8.9 % y-o-y), worth about CZK 248.8 billion (decreased by 10.1 % y-o-y). Construction enterprises concluded about 15.6 thousand construction work orders amounting to CZK 205.4 billion in total.  
New construction work orders
 
In the 4 ^th quarter  2005 construction enterprises contracted 24 447 new construction work orders, worth about CZK 63.6 billion, which translates into an increase of 0.4 % y-o-y. Also change of structure expressed thanks considerable decrease of new orders in the civil engineering works and in the water management works.
 
By types of construction the value of new domestic orders:
-          increased in the construction of non-residential buildings not designed for production by 71.8 %;
-          increased in residential buildings by 29.1 %;
-          increased in the construction of non-residential buildings designed for production  by 13.5 %;
-          decreased in the civil engineering works by 33.7 %;
-          decreased in the water management works by 29.5 %.
 
The increase of value of newly concluded orders for non-residential buildings not designed for       production in the 4 ^th quarter 2005 compared to the same period in 2004 was influenced by low reference basis in private as well as public orders (by 87.8 %; by 58.8 %). In  the 4 ^th quarter 2005 orders financially demanding constructions were concluded, such as construction of social and shopping centers, construction or rather finishing of hotels and hospitals.
On the contrary decrease in value of newly concluded orders for civil engineering and water management works was influenced by high volume of concluded orders from the second to fourth quarter in 2004. 
      The average value of domestic new construction work orders was CZK 2.6 million and decreased  
by 8.7 % y-o-y.
Public and private new construction orders amounting to CZK 33.9 billion (53.3 %) and CZK 29.7  billion (46.7 %) respectively. The number of new work orders is 24 447 most of them are private  orders  61.1 %. 
 
      The  number  of construction work orders  cancelled in  the 4 ^th quarter  2005 was 169, worth about                                                                                                  
      CZK 0.7 billion.
 
The value of construction work order
 
The linear relation between value of construction order and construction enterprises exists. Primarily the big enterprises realise big construction orders, which are capable of guarantying of construction complexly on technology level.

From the total number of orders 15.5 thousands it will be realised 93.9 % in next 12 months, which is  the same y-o-y. This indicator move above 90 % in the long term. During the next first 6 months it will be realised 80.0 % from total number work orders.
 
From the total value of orders amounting to CZK 194.0 billion it will be realised 76.4 % in next 12 months, in comparison with 4 ^th quarter 2004 it is increase about 10.4 percentage point. During the next first 6 months it will be realised  44.2 % from total value work orders.
 

In 2005, construction enterprises contracted 93 602 new construction work orders (increased by   8.9 % y-o-y), worth about CZK 248.8 billion (decreased by 10.1 % y-o-y).
 
The average value of domestic new construction work orders was CZK 2.7 million in 2005.
