New construction work orders
 
In Q2 2005 construction enterprises contracted 24 361 new construction work orders. worth about CZK 61.1 billion, which translates into a decrease of 23.8 % y-o-y. The decrease was partially influenced by the high reference basis of the 2 ^nd quarter of 2004 when contracts entered into included the lowered VAT (before its change). Also change of structure expressed thanks considerable decrease of new orders in the civil engineering works.
 
By types of construction the volume of new domestic orders:
-          increased in residential buildings by 67.6 %;
-          decreased in the civil engineering works by 48.9 % (thanks high reference basis in second quarter  of  2004, when growth 92.1 % y-o-y);
-          decreased in the water management works by 46.9 %;
-          decreased in the construction of non-residential buildings designed for production  by 15.6 %;
-          decreased in the construction of non-residential buildings not designed for production by 14.1 %.
 
The average value of domestic new construction work orders was CZK 2.5 million and decreased by 27.3 % y-o-y.
 
Public and private new construction orders amounting to CZK 27.6 billion (45.1 %) and CZK 33.5  billion (54.9 %) respectively. The number of new work orders is 24 361, most of them are private  orders  64.5 %. 
 
The value of construction work orders cancelled in Q2 2005 was CZK 0.4 billion.
 
The volume of construction work order
 
The linear relation between volume of construction order and construction enterprises exists. Primarily the big enterprises realise big construction orders, which are capable of guarantying of construction complexly on technology level.

The progress schedule for completion of construction work orders in the CR
 
From the total number of orders 18.5 thousands it will be realised 95.0 % in next 12 months, which is much the same y-o-y. This indicator move above 90 % in the long term. During the next first 6 months it will be realised 82.6 % from total number work orders.
 
From the total value of orders amounting to CZK 206.4 billion it will be realised 73.7 % in next 12 months, in comparison with Q2 2004 it is decrease about 7.1 point. During the next first 6 months it will be realised  47.4 % from total value work orders.
