New construction work orders:
The volume of new construction work orders concluded in the CR stood at CZK 79.5 billion (most since 1995s), which translates into an increase of 49.1% y-o-y.
By types of construction the volume of new domestic orders:
- especially increased in the civil engineering works by 90.9%;
- increased in the construction of non-residential buildings designed for production by 69.9%;
- increased in the construction of non-residential buildings not designed for production by 22.9%;
- increased in residential buildings by 4.1%,
- decreased in construction of water buildings by 3.2%.
The average value of domestic new construction work orders was CZK 3.5 million and increased by 33.1% y-o-y.
The value of construction work orders cancelled in Q2 2004 was CZK 979 million, it was cancelled 174 orders.
Supply of construction orders as at 30 June 2004
Construction enterprises with 20+ employees, whose principal activity is building and civil engineering and site preparation (CZ-NACE 451 and 452), concluded a total of 18.1 thousand construction work orders. The orders represented a CZK 193.7 billion worth supply of construction work not yet carried out in total.
Domestic and non-domestic construction work orders accounted for 98.3% and 1.7% of the total volume, respectively. Of the total volume of domestic orders, public orders amounted to CZK 137.1 billion and private ones to CZK 53.3 billion at the end of Q2 2004.
Type of construction work order
Public and private new construction orders amounting to CZK 52.5 billion and CZK 27.0 billion respectively. Supply of public and private construction orders representative 66.1% and 33.9%.The relation between private and public orders is affected, that first of all the bigger construction enterprises in the statistical survey are included, which ones considerably higher share of public orders.
The number of new work orders is 22 654, most of them are private orders 62.4%.

The linear relation between volume of construction order and construction enterprises exists. Primarily the big enterprises realise big construction orders, which are capable of guarantying of construction complexly on technology level.
