Industrial production in September 2007 grew by 1.2% year-on-year and by 7.6% month-on-month. Compared with the average month of the base year 2000, industrial production in September 2007 was by 56.7% higher. Year-on-year saw September higher industrial production in sections: D – ‘Manufacturing‘ (+1.3%) and E – ‘Electricity, gas and water supply’ (+4.1%), while in section C – ‘Mining and quarrying’ dropped (–7.0%).
In September, the output of ‘Manufacturing’ increased especially in subsections: DK – ‘Manufacture of machinery and equipment n.e.c’ (+14.1%), DL – ‘Manufacture of electrical and optical equipment’ (+11.3%), DM – ‘Manufacture of transport equipment’ (+7.5%) and DI – ‘Manufacture of non-metallic products’ (+7.0%). The most a decrease was seen in sections: DF – ‘Manufacture of coke, refined petroleum Industrial production in September 2007 grew by 1.2% year-on-year and by 7.6% month-on-month. Compared with the average month of the base year 2000, industrial production in September 2007 was products’ (–50.4%), DC – ‘Manufacture of leather and leather products’ (–12.0%) and DG – ‘Manufacture of chemicals, chemical products and man-made fibres’ (–8.6%).
The September year-on-year IPI broken down by main industrial grouping increased most in the grouping for ‘Capital Goods’ (+11.9%) and dropped in MIG ‘Energy’ (–0.9%) only.
