The output of the agriculture industry (OAI) valued at the current basic prices was 110 101,7 mil. CZK in the year 2001. OAI decreased by 8,2 % to 101 121,9 mil. CZK in the year 2002. As the cause of this reduction was decrease both the crop output by 8,1 % and the animal output by 8,3 %. If we compare the agricultural output measured at current constant prices of the year 2000 we can see that OAI decreased by 2,8 % from the year 2001 to 2002, the crop output came down by 7,1 % whereas the animal output raised by 1,9 %.

The crop output shared OAI by 50,2 % in the year 2001 (valued at current basic prices). In the year 2002 it shared OAI by 50,3 %, there cereals (48,5 % in the year 2001 and 44,7 % in the year 2002)) and industrial crops (24,7 % in the year and 22,5 % in the year 2002) had a major proportion in the crop output. Despite decreasing of the potato harvest in the year 2002 contra the year 2001 the potato output proportion of the crop output in the year 2002 (9,0 %) increased contra the year 2001 (5,9 %) as a result of the substantial growth of the potato mean price . The animal output shared the OAI by 48,9 % in the year 2001 and by 48,8 % in the year 2002. The milk production (35,1 % in the year 2001 and 40,1 % in the year 2002) and breeding of pigs for slaughter (36,9 % in the year 2001 and 30,4 % in the year 2002) represented the most important part of the animal output. The rest of the total OAI is made up by the agricultural work supplied to the other unit, that is the agricultural services output (0,9 %) and non-agricultural secondary activities (inseparable) in the year 2002 (47,0 mil. CZK) in addition to the crop output and the animal output.

The intermediate consumption (IC) at market prices shared OAI by 67,1 % in the year 2001 and by 71,7 % in the year 2002. The intermediate consumption of feedingstuffs represented the biggest part of it, that was 50,0 % in the year 2001 and 51,4 % in the year 2002. The IC fell by 1,8 % within the year.

The gross value added at basic prices (GVA) was 36 253,1 mil. CZK in the year 2001. GVA decreased by 21,1 % to 28 617,5 mil. CZK in the year 2002. After deduction of the fixed capital consumption (FCC) we get the net value added at basic prices (NVA). NVA amounted to 25 022,2 mil. CZK in the year 2001 and within a year it decreased by 31,4 % to 17 169,5 mil. CZK in 2002.

The factor income at basic prices was 26 165,5 mil. CZK in the year 2001 and it was higher by 1 143,3 mil. CZK then the net value added (by 4,6 %). The factor income fell by 24,8 % within a year, therefore it amounted to 19 677,4 mil. CZK in 2002. The compensation of employees was 19 561,5 mil. CZK in the year 2001 and it shared the factor income by 74,8 %. There occurred a slight growth of the compensation of employees in the year 2002 contra the year 2001 by 0,3 % to 19 620,2 mil. CZK.
