The preliminary results of the output of the agricultural industry (OAI) valued at the current basic prices were 101 254,4 mil. CZK in the year 2006. The crop output amounted to 48 882,7 mil. CZK and the animal output amounted to 46 997,4 mil. CZK. The rest of the total OAI was made up by the agricultural work supplied to the other unit, that were the agricultural services output (2 335,4 mil. CZK) and non-agricultural secondary activities (inseparable) in the amount 3 038,9 mil. CZK in addition to the crop output and the animal output. The lower harvest of cereals and sugar beet was the main reason for the decrease in the crop output. The estimated volume of subsidies on products total amounted to 2 270,1 mil. CZK in the year 2006, subsidies on vegetable products made 170,9 mil. CZK and subsidies on animal products made 2 099,2 mil. CZK. The total volume of subsidies on products in the year 2005 was 914,7 mil. CZK.

The output of the agricultural industry at the current constant prices of the year 2000 got to the amount 101 772,5 mil. CZK, the crop output came to 49 629,7 mil. CZK and the animal output was 47 649,3 mil. CZK.

The crop output shared the output of the agricultural industry by 48,3 % in the year 2006 (valued at current basic prices), in the process cereals (37,7 %) and industrial crops (27,0 %) had a major proportion in the crop output. The animal output shared the output of the agricultural industry by 46,4 %. The milk production (42,9 %) and breeding of pigs for slaughter (25,1 %) represented the most important part of the animal output.

The intermediate consumption (IC) shared the output of the agricultural industry (less subsidies on products) by 75,2 %. The intermediate consumption of feedingstuffs represented the biggest part of it that was 38,5 %.

Income from agricultural activity per full-time labour equivalent (1 AWU), as it is measured by income Indicator A, increased by 5,8 % in 2006. The deflator (the implicit price index of GDP at market prices), estimated for the year 2006 was 101,37 %.
