Organisation Chart of the CZSO

The organisational structure of the CZSO consists of four tiers of line management. Units of the CZSO Headquarters in Prague primarily manage methodological, statistical and technical-economic agendas. They are responsible for providing key statistical processes, starting with methodology development, through the functionally methodical management of data collection and processing, to the dissemination of statistical information. An integral part is units dealing with support processes, including international cooperation, legislation, HR, financial management, IT, public procurement, security and communication.

Regional Offices of the CZSO operate in each of the fourteen Regions. There are two types of them: the large ones and the small ones. Both the types have the same internal structure, which includes the Field Surveys Unit, the Information Services Unit and, since 2018, the Population and Housing Census Unit. Furthermore, the large regional offices have specialised statistical processing units with nationwide scope.
