The share of tourism in the gross value added of the Czech Republic in 2021 was 1.53% (CZK 84.8 billion). 215.2 thousand people were employed in the sector, i.e. every 25th working person in the Czech Republic. The share of the gross domestic product in the national economy reached 1.55%.
