In 2022, after a two-year decline, the number of marriages increased to 54.8 thousand. The proportion of women and men entering their first marriage before the age of 50 also increased, to 70 and 60%, respectively. A total of 19.8 thousand marriages were divorced in 2022, and the proportion of marriages terminated in divorce fell to 38%.
