Employment and unemployment (LFS)

The number of the employed persons was by 87.2 thousand higher, year-on-year (y-o-y); the total employment thus moderately increased. According to the methodology of the International Labour Organization (ILO), the number of the unemployed was by 17.1 thousand higher, y-o-y. The number of the economically inactive aged 15+ years decreased by 31.1 thousand during the same period.
