In 2025, roundwood removals amounted to 16.7 million m3 (under bark); there was a year-on-year decrease by 1.1 million m3. The share of salvage felling was 31.6%; spruce was the main species harvested (64.8% of roundwood removals). Afforestation/reforestation (planting and sowing) was carried out on an area of 23 065 hectares, with conifers prevailing (56.3% of the area). Natural forest regeneration reached an area of 10 152 hectares (53.1% were coniferous species).
