Elections to regional councils
Elections to regional councils are carried out according to the principles of proportional representation. According to the population in a Region, 45, 55, or 65 councillors are elected for 4 years. Voters vote in the territory of the Czech Republic except for the hl. m. Praha Region (the Capital City of Prague). The conduct of the elections is governed by the Act No 130/2000 Sb.
