Domestic and outbound tourism (Tourism Sample Survey)
In 2022, citizens of the Czech Republic aged 15 and over will make a total of 13.3 million longer and 18.8 million shorter private trips in their leisure time, according to the results of the SCCR. After two years of curbing coronavirus pandemics, the share of foreign travel has returned to previous levels. In 2022, 39% of longer trips and 7% of shorter trips were outside the country.
