Awards of the CZSO in 2023
- The Statistical Geoportal won the prestigious IT Project of the Year 2023 award. The competition is announced annually by the Czech Association of Information Technology Managers (CACIO) and its aim is to reward the best IT development and/or implementation projects. The Geoportal stood up to the competition of 13 other quality projects also in the final presentation before the expert evaluation committee.
- The Czech Statistical Office´s Instagram profile won the Lemur competition – Czech Public Relations Award in the Digital Communication - Social Networks category. In the Corporate publications category the Czech Statistical Office took the 3rd place for its brochure "CZSO and processing of election results". Since 2006, this competition has been announced annually by the Public Relations Association (APRA). Prizes are awarded to PR projects or their parts that are best based on the client's business strategy, contain creative solutions, are in line with the ethical rules of the field and have a demonstrably positive impact on the business and reputation of the contracting authority.
- The Czech Statistical Office scored points even in three categories of the Fénix Content Marketing 2022 competition. Third place in the Data Visualization category for the "CZSO 2022 Infographics", third place in the Social media – Instagram category for the Czech Statistical Office´s Instagram profile. And at the end the CZSO won bronze in the B2E Magazine category for its internal newsletter for employees of the Czech Statistical Office "We & Statistics". The Fénix content marketing competition has been defining the best work, agencies and contractors on the Czech market in the field of content marketing through a competition that is evaluated by almost 40 of the best experts in their fields of work.
- The Czech Statistical Office received the Special Achievements in GIS award for the project "Geoportal for the dissemination of geographic data Census 2021", which is awarded annually by ESRI for significant and inspiring achievements in the use and implementation of GIS technologies. This is a prestigious award with worldwide acclaim and publicity - in the past it was won for the Czech Republic, for example, by the Institute of Planning and Development of the city of Prague or the Czech Fire and Rescue Service.
