Under the chairmanship of Mr Marek Rojíček, the President of the Czech Statistical Office, the first meeting of the Council Working Party on Statistics under the Czech Presidency took place on 15 July 2022.
At the beginning of the meeting, Mr Rojíček presented the priorities and aims of the Czech Presidency. The main topic of the meeting was the current state of play regarding the revision of the ESA 2010 Regulation. Member States examined the mandate of the European Parliament and were informed about the legislative progress regarding the Proposal for a Regulation on Statistics on Agricultural Input and Output (SAIO) and the Data Act.
The next meeting of the Council Working Party on Statistics is scheduled for Friday, 9 September 2022.
