Notes on the way of publishing results
of external trade statistics

Starting from the September 2003 data, the Czech Statistical Office changed the way of updating monthly results from monthly-based to quarterly-based. That means that monthly data will remain constant in the course of the quarter.
Updated data for the whole period from the beginning of the year will be published together with preliminary data for the first month of the following quarter, i.e. updates will come out in June (1st quarter), September (1st–2nd quarters), December (1st–3rd quarters), and March (1st–4th quarters). Updated and final data for the preceding year will be published together with updates for the 1st quarter (i.e. in June) and the 1st–2nd quarters (in September), respectively.

The following notes apply to all tables in this publication – „External Trade of the Czech Republic in January – March 2005“:

2004 data for January to December are updated, referring to 28 February 2005 closing date.

2005 data for January are preliminary, referring to 28 February 2005 closing date,
for February are preliminary, referring to 29 March 2005 closing date,
for March are preliminary, referring to 28 April 2005 closing date.

Casual differences on the last digit position arise for rounding off the absolute number.
