Methodology - Social services

Data from the field of Social Security are taken from the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs. 

The main sense of social services is to provide assistance in self-care, providing of food and meals, accommodation, assistance in housekeeping, treatment, assistance with upbringing, consultancies, mediating contacts with social environment, psychotherapy and socio-therapy, and assistance in enforcing rights and interests. 

Social services are provided as residential, outpatient or outreach services. Social services can only be provided on the basis of authorization, which is created by the decision of the regional office on registration according to Act No. 108 / 2006 Coll., on social services. Depending on the type of social service, some are provided for payment and some are provided without payment.
