ICT in enterprises

In 2025, more than half of enterprises (51%) with 10 or more employees were connected to the Internet with maximum contracted download speed of at least 100 Mbit/s, and almost a tenth of enterprises (8 %) used "superfast" Internet with download speeds of more than 1 Gbit/s. The share of employees of these enterprises with internet access at work was 57 % in 2025. Compared to ten years ago, the proportion of employees with internet access at work is 1.5 times higher. More and more enterprises have their user account on one of the social media platforms, in 2025 it was more than 56 %. The use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies in enterprises in Czechia is on the rise, in 2025 more than 17 % of enterprises in our country used some of the AI technologies, which is three times more than in 2023.
