Household Budget Survey

Food and non-alcoholic beverages together with housing, water, electricity, gas and other fuels make up the largest part of consumption expenditures of Czech households. Households paid an average of around 3 000 CZK per capita and month for food, most of which was for meat. They spent less than 300 CZK per capita each month on alcoholic beverages, and less than 320 CZK on non-alcoholic beverages.
